Rory - Trainer
Meet Rory Hunter, a passionate and dedicated horse trainer with a lifetime of experience.
Growing up, Rory developed a deep love for horses, working alongside his father Steve, cleaning stables, making feeds, and participating in early morning track work before school. As he grew older, Rory's involvement in the industry expanded, riding track work for local trainers and his father. After completing high school, Rory pursued his dreams, relocating to the city to work with esteemed trainers Nigel Blackiston, Anthony Cummings, and Peter Moody. Rory's career progressed rapidly, becoming stable foreman for Mick Price and later Assistant Trainer for Tony Noonan.
In late 2022, Rory took the bold step of establishing his own horse training business. His first runner, Songaa, achieved instant success, winning its debut outing. Nearly two years on, Rory has accumulated an impressive record of winners and placings.

Angus - Assistant Trainer
Meet Angus, a dedicated and passionate individual with a lifelong devotion to horses and horse racing. Although his interest in the industry began later in childhood, Angus quickly made up for lost time, eagerly assisting his father with stable duties, feed preparation, and other tasks. On select mornings, he'd also participate in track work, fostering a deep appreciation for the sport.
Following high school, Angus took a bold step, relocating to the city to further his knowledge and experience within the industry. He worked alongside esteemed trainers Mick Price, Ciaron Maher, Peter and Paul Snowden, and later Tony Noonan, gaining invaluable insights and skills.
Currently, Angus serves as Assistant Trainer under his brother Rory, and his ultimate aspiration is to become a licensed racehorse trainer. With his unwavering passion, strong work ethic, and dedication to the sport, Angus is well on his way to achieving his dreams!
Sally- Racing Manager
Meet Sally Hunter, our dedicated Racing Manager. Sally's affection for horses and horse racing was nurtured from a young age, growing up on a farm surrounded by horses. She spent countless hours riding and caring for the animals, while also assisting her father, renowned racehorse trainer Jack Carstein.
In addition to her equine expertise, Sally possesses a wealth of administrative knowledge, garnered from her experience working with esteemed organizations such as Ted Neil Automotive and the Jack and Norma Carstein Logging Business. Sally's passion for her family, friends, and horses is unwavering, and her dedication to their success is unrelenting. Her selfless nature and infectious enthusiasm make her an invaluable asset to our team.
As Racing Manager, Sally brings her unique blend of equine expertise, administrative acumen, and interpersonal skills to ensure the success and well-being of our horses, owners, and team members
